Diamond Braxton
Diamond Braxton is the Founder of Abode Press. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Best Microfiction, Best of the Net, Foglifter, The Forge, Stanchion, Alebrijes Review, Rejection Letters, The Acentos Review, Hellebore Press, and others. She lives in Central, TX and is pursuing her MFA in Fiction at Texas State. She works as the Senior Prose Editor for Defunkt Magazine, and she is also a Copy Editor for the Porter House Review. Bianca Alyssa Pérez
Bianca Alyssa Pérez (she/her) is a Latina poet, educator, and editor born and raised in Mission, Texas – a small southern town bordering Mexico. She holds her MFA in Poetry from Texas State University, where she also teaches and coordinates the MFA in Creative Writing program. She was the 2022-2023 Clark House Writer-In-Residence in Smithville, TX. Her chapbook, Gemini Gospel, is published with Host Publications. Ivelisse Rodriguez
Ivelisse Rodriguez’s debut short story collection Love War Stories was a 2019 PEN/Faulkner finalist and a 2018 Foreword Reviews INDIES finalist. It was noted as a must read or best book of the year in over thirty publications, including O magazine, Women’s Health, Good Housekeeping, Cosmopolitan, and more. She is a contributing arts editor for the Boston Review, where she acquires fiction. She is a 2022 Letras Boricuas fellow and a Tanne Foundation award winner. She earned an M.F.A. in creative writing from Emerson College and a Ph.D. in English, creative writing from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

JP Gritton
JP Gritton is the author of the novel Wyoming. He was the founding member of Poetry and Prose in the Shelter, an organization that brought Houston-based writers to area homeless shelters to facilitate writers workshops. He lives with his partner in Durham, North Carolina, where he teaches creative writing at Duke University.

Ruben Zecena
Ruben Zecena is an Assistant Professor of English at the University of California, Davis. Born in El Salvador, he is on a constant search for home and his work is animated by his experiences as a formerly undocumented queer migrant. He specializes in contemporary Latinx literature and culture, which he engages through the frameworks of queer studies, border studies, queer of color critique, and women of color feminism. His work appears in the journals WSQ: Women’s Studies Quarterly, Prose Studies, Diálogo, an Interdisciplinary Studies Journal, among others. He is currently working on a book about the cultural productions of Latinx queer and trans migrants in the US.
